February 14, 2025 11:08 PM (GMT+8) :: An Unusual Post-mortem

It's been ages since I've posted about work and I gotta say, a lot of the worst and the best of it happened in the span of a couple of months and it's one heck of a way to start the year.

The pressure had been tough, to the point that it made me hate a lot of things. It's a grueling gauntlet that risked my health (still is) and sanity.

But the reward for perseverance had been gratifying in return. I was able to build SO MUCH STUFF. I was able to accomplish and master various practices that no certification or course would've granted me, and I've managed to finally make use of things I have endlessly deferred because of all sorts of excuses and time and "busy".

It turns out that when under pressure and even at the risk of burnout, when it clicks in your head and the workaholic spirit kicks in, it REALLY kicks into overdrive, and it's a fantastic wakeup call to get shit done.

And the best part of it imho is being able to code relentlessly once more. Getting high up there kinda makes you forget your coding roots sometimes, and it's refreshing to be at a heightened state of building things once more when you haven't done so for a while.
