Sonarr and Radarr
I’ve used Flexget for years now with my Raspberry Pi B+ as my means to automatically download entire shows. Now that I’ve transitioned into using a full-time Synology NAS , I figured consolidating stuff to the NAS system instead.
And now I’m surprised that there are fully-fledged apps with their webapps in Sonarr and Radarr . Comes with support for indexers, downloaders and other stuff, this is a full-blown operation compared to Flexget and I’m pleasantly surprised.
I might install Sonarr when I have the time. In the meantime, I’m debating in my head whether to:
- keep the Raspberry Pi running 24/7 for downloads and run the NAS only at a limited time (i.e., when I’m awake)
- decommission the Raspberry Pi and run the NAS 24/7.
